A theme inspired by the cover art of Linkin Park's album, From Zero.
The artwork of the album From Zero is unique in the sense that it is a reminder of how fleeting each moment is, but also how it is a possibility. In LP's interview with Zane Lowe from Apple Music posted on September 6th, 2024 (https://youtu.be/otxt-VTYgmU?t=2954), the band expands on this.
Mike Shinoda starts by revealing that the natural combination of liquids, colors, and photography means "you can't make it again", and that "this is just a moment in time" -- simultaneously "really small, like, microscopic", and also "galactic, like, very big". To him, Linkin Park "is big and small at the same time".
Joe Hahn, who also directed LP's latest MV, The Emptiness Machine, shares a sentiment encapsulating a different idea -- that "it screams possibility", which, in his opinion, sums up the From Zero concept: "It looks cool, but, it's like, where do we go from here?".
